When I found out I was pregnant with twins there were a few things I first thought.

Firstly...... Oh my god! After announcing to our family and friends we were pregnant, my niece was very quick to say "I have been telling you for weeks someone in the family is having twins" as she had just been to a clairvoyant....... We thought nothing of it (sorry Sari!). We were pregnant and the idea of twins just didn't even cross our minds......Then one of my best friends kept having dreams about me being pregnant (she was emailing about being pregnant when I didn't even know I was at the time). After she contacted me the 3rd time (by now I had just found out I was pregnamt) saying her dream this time had red-headed twins in it, I just had to ring her to say "yes I am pregnant", but again I didn't consider the possibility that maybe there were two...... At our first obstetrician appointment I didn't even think about what Alli & Sari had said, as I was too excited to see our baby on the monitor...... When the Dr said "there's your baby" my eyes filled with tears and the most contented emotion of fulfillment overcame my body......But the Dr paused..... and said "Oh, and over here you have another one......"

Secondly...... I would never dress the twins in the same clothes...... Guess what! I do now......It's easier just to grab two outfits the same.

As a twin mum I know how expensive it is. You often don't have hand-me-down clothes, nor the money to buy designer clothes. Having to buy not one outfit, but two proves to be very expensive. When shopping in stores you will often find a lovely outfit, but then can't find another the same size.

So that is how just-twins got started. Initially we set ourselves up as an ebay store, and would pass on our items to other twin parents, and buy twin items we needed.

So now, after being blessed with twins 20 months ago (I can say blessed now, it wasn't that long ago I wondered "why me"!!!) I have learnt to buy items early in the season to get matching outfits, or to shop online which not only saves heaps of time, but allows you to get designer items for a significant amount cheaper.

There isn't just me behind just-twins, there is also Rob, the loving father of the twins. He is so patient and honestly I am not sure what he thought when I proceeded to outline a business plan I had been working on, and said "I want to set up a small web business"......

I have returned to work after 12 months maternity leave, work full-time as does Rob, so you can imagine just how busy things are at the moment.

This store is to assist families with twins to buy articles of clothing, either in matching pairs or similar styles. All clothing in our store is new, but you will be able to find items in preloved condition on our eBay store.

All outfits/shoes in our store our sold in sets of two, unless clearly noted otherwise. I know just how frustrating it is to purchase items online advertised as being for twins, but only to later find that the sale was only for one item, and that you have to make another purchase to get two!
